Natural sites in Savoy


This 280 km (6 hours) tour straddling France and Switzerland will take you through valleys and winding roads to discover some of the most beautiful natural sites in Savoie.



There are 4 tourist stops on this route. You are free to stay for a few minutes or a few hours.

1. Devil's Bridge Gorges: In an exceptional forest environment, the Devil's Bridge Gorges offer a striking image of the power of erosion. The Dranse de Morzine rushes through a deep fissure dominated by an imposing arch. A glass floor is suspended 50 metres above the Dranse de Morzine to allow you to discover this superb natural site



2. Bérard waterfall: Half an hour from the hamlet of Le Buet, a pretty path leads you to the waterfall. You can admire this tumultuous torrent that rushes down the slopes of the Aiguilles Rouges and quench your thirst at the refreshment bar



3. Aiguille du Midi: From the top of its 3777m, the Aiguille du Midi and its terraces offer a 360° view of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. Thanks to a lift, you can access the summit terrace at 3842m, to discover a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc.



4. Dard waterfall: Located near the entrance of the Tunnel under the Mont-Blanc, in the middle of the greenery, it is the last of a series where the tumultuous and sparkling water is a true wonder of nature. The Dard waterfall, at 1233 m, is 20 m high and offers a sumptuous spectacle. View of the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range, the Bossons glacier and the Mont-Blanc.
