There are 2 tourist stops on this route. You are free to stay for a few minutes or a few hours.

  1. Thônes
  2. Chartreuse du Reposoir

1. Thônes: Located in the heart of the mountains, halfway between Lake Annecy and the Aravis Massif, Thônes offers a year-round life, coveted in summer as well as in winter thanks to a wide range of activities.

2. Chartreuse du Reposoir: In the shadow of the Pointe Percée (2752m), the old Charterhouse was founded in 1151 by Carthusian monks. The buildings, restored in 1686 and 1717, house the former monks' cells, the large and small flamboyant Gothic cloister, the harmonious chapel (1480-1530) and the common parts. After having organised the pastoral and agricultural life for centuries, the Carthusian monks left the place in 1901, leaving it to the Carmelites in 1932.
