Around the Vanoise


This is a 240 km (4.5 hours) route that allows you to cross some of the most beautiful passes in Savoie. Lots of curves, altitude and superb landscapes to discover.



There are 2 tourist stops on this route. You are free to stay for a few minutes or a few hours.

  1. Bonneval-sur-Arc
  2. Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne



1. Bonneval-sur-Arc : In the hollow of the Haute Maurienne valley, surrounded by the imposing mountains of the Vanoise massif, Bonneval-sur-Arc has retained the charm of a village resort on a human scale. 




2. Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne : At the heart of the Maurienne valley lies a wide area whose slopes offer all the variety of Alpine landscapes with the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves in the background. An obligatory passage between France and Italy, a crossroads on the road to the major passes, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne also has a remarkable historical heritage which makes it a destination worth discovering.
